What started in Russia is a <a href="http://ecohousefilm.com/tag/green"target="_self"title="green lifestyle" >green alternative to bleach and cleaners, that costs less than a penny a gallon- electrolyzed water.

The article talks about industrial applications, but we are going to look into how to do this in the home.

Source: LA times

We are going to look into this in depth, but for now here are some links we are going to look at, please comment your findings

Waterpot – making bleach by eletrolyzis

and their detailed instructions

There are multiple patents available online that deal with electrolysis and disinfection.

source 1

We see the main problem with this technology is the separation of degreaser and satizer, requiring bulky and expensive units. The simpler units just make bleach, which, though very sanitizing, is also corrozive and irritating.

thank you for stopping by EcoHouseFilm.com.

This is a story about freedom. A family decides to build a simple cheap <a href="http://ecohousefilm.com/tag/ecological"target="_self"title="ecological things in Sweden" >ecological house that will let them concentrate on living.

We will be making a documentary and keeping a blog to document our experience.
